Why Eirebricks?

Hi all, I've just joined here after seeing a mention on Eurobricks, and I see a lot of familiar names here, but I'm just wondering what the prupose of this place is? I can't seem to find a mission statement anywhere (point me to one if I've missed it!) and, at first glance, I don't see anything specifically different from Eurobricks, so why did you guys set up a new site? Is it Irish?

Honest inquiry, I'm not trying to stir up trouble or anything!

yep it is irish .i visist burman on holidays when i go to see my cousins.(burman and i are pretty much related)

It is irish but anyone in the world is allowed to join.

Originally it is Irish, but our old phrase used to be: A LEGO sit for all communities.
So it is for anybody that like LEGOs.
