Are lego pirates worth it?
So,I'm getting set 10210 Emperial flagship.
But my mum says i have to wait till after ive been to my dad's for part of the holiday.I'm going there the day after tommorow and staying for 2 weeks. so basically i have to wait 2 weeks.
i made this topic to ask any of the pirate fans of these forums who have this set,

Yes, very much worth it! I got that set a few months ago, and everything was great, the build, the set, and the figs!
Maybe I can post a review, maybe....

Sadly no, the last time they were produced in a pirate set was nineteen or twenty years ago. But there is many ways you can still get them, you can go on eBay, sites like Bricklink, or you can print out Bluecoat decals and apply them.perthpoke wrote:Are there any sets with bluecoats?I cant find any on Lego shop online.Bieng a bluecoat, i kinda need some.General Redwater wrote:Yes, very much worth it! Also some pirate torsos are blue, so they sort of look like Bluecoats; like this one.

I'm thinking about getting it for Christmas. As a Redcoat, I'll love it. (hopefully)

Yes, lego pirates are totally worth it! Especially if you like history and the age of sail. It is acually my favorite theme.
Re: Are lego pirates worth it?
I have decided not to get it. I think my soldier's for is good enough...for now.

I really recommend buying Bluecoats on Bricklink. Over the years, it really pays off:

If they did that would be the blandest army ever. Awesome army, there! I've always wanted to army build like that with my Stormies, but I haven't, and probably never will, find a big lot of them for a buck each.perthpoke wrote:That is one great army of bluecoats.Do they all have the same face?

Actually, before the new LEGO pirates, the Redcoat foot soldiers all had the same face too. The officers of both sides had different faces though. the LEGO pirates line started the printing of different facial expressions.The_Empire wrote:

Yes, they all have the same faces but thats only because I like to keep it classic. I could change the faces but there used mostly for pirates.
Heres the full pic:

Cool army! I thought he changed the faces, but thanks for telling me that they had same faces until a time.
